Kerry, Lead Operations Admin with the Fortec Distribution Network, was presented with the Individual Achievement Award as part of the company’s annual awards ceremony.
Kerry, who has worked at Fortec for 10 years, fended off competition from colleagues across the operation to win the award, as voted for by members of Fortec’s 84-strong network.
As part of a team of four, Kerry is responsible for liaising with all the depots within the network, helping to ensure all pallets are dealt with and that operations are running smoothly.
She said her work ethos is to maintain a good rapport with each and every depot, make sure all her tasks are completed and to help her colleagues at the Fortec hub wherever possible.
She said: “It was the second award I’d won with Fortec, but it was still a huge shock.
“However it’s a huge compliment and I’d like to thank all the members who voted for me to win the award. It’s really flattering.”
Held at Whittlebury Hall in Towcester, the awards ceremony was attended by 160 guests from Fortec and its members.
Comedian Bobby Davro provided the entertainment for the night, along with a live band and a casino.
Craig Johnson, Business Unit Director of Fortec, said the popular annual ceremony provided the perfect opportunity to reward just some of the many staff and members who work tirelessly to uphold Fortec’s ethos of delivering an unrivalled service.
He said: “A massive well done to Kerry. As part of the operations team, Kerry and her colleagues play a pivotal role in ensuring that everything runs smoothly. She is a valuable member of the team and was recognised because of the consistent effort and dedication she puts into Fortec on a daily basis.”
