Pall-Ex Group are pleased to announce the appointment of a new UK Finance Director.
Paul Robins brings more than 20 years’ experience of the parcel sector from his role at UK Mail, part of the Deutsche Post DHL Group.
His previous roles include Head of Business Accounting and Head of Business Controlling where he supported the business to double it’s turnover from £250m to £500m. He was also awarded Employee of the Year, beating 2,500 colleagues to the title.
Paul’s significant experience also extends to overhauling reporting methodologies and platforms for accelerated decision making and enhanced profitability.
Paul’s position is one of a number of significant appointments at Pall-Ex’s central hub in Ellistown, Leicestershire and follows Peter Paxton, Pall-Ex’s former Finance Director’s promotion to Chief Financial Officer for the Group.

Paul Robins comments: “My core background is in distribution, across the pallet and parcel sectors, so I am confident my skills will be a valuable addition to both Pall-Ex and Fortec.
“Logistics is a rapidly changing environment and it is full of dynamic people with can-do attitudes, which makes it a great fit for me - I enjoy being part of a team which provides excellent services for customers and recipients.
“There are many challenges ahead, such as dealing with the shifting priorities that come with a fast-paced business, but the senior team are motivated and demonstrate the journey that Pall-Ex is on.
“I want to be part of that journey and I’m excited to be involved in a company that shows real potential and determination.”
Paul’s passion for challenges extends outside of work.
Paul adds: “I took part in the London Marathon! I had never ran more than three miles but after and intensive four-month training regime I managed to run and complete the 26.2 mile marathon.
